Masquerade & Mushrooms.

There is something so intriguing about a masquerade. Different people everywhere gather in a room in masks, and they dance. They dance with other people who wear masks, with full awareness of each other having masks on, and that what they see on each other's faces are but masks. And what do they really look like beneath their masks? Nobody knows; more importantly, nobody cares. The joy is in the dancing.

Perhaps life is like a masquerade. Should be? We definitely care about other people's true side. We criticize like hell when we feel someone is acting fake or putting on a mask or being hypocritical.

Nah life isn't like a masquerade. I think sometimes that the masks we put on aren't masks at all, but just different sides of ourselves. For each 'mask' we put on our faces, we can only do so cos we have that mask within ourselves. Our character then is just a culmination of those 'masks'; ever-changing, ever-fluid, but we all have the potential to be someone, to be somebody. Shallowness, depth, true self, identity... perhaps all these are just an illusion of security; none of it really exists. (lolz ben i think i agree with u on ur opinion of depth)

On to mushrooms :) a walk in the moonlight to remember. sooo fun it was really really great. we've all changed... have we? i don't know but yea... that feeling of bliss. how everyone is just... well growing up. lolz...
